Microsoft updates Portuguese ortography – Portugal

Microsoft has updated the last two versions of Office (2007 and 2010) compatible with new Portuguese orthography. The new tools can be downloaded for free at the Microsoft website. The project was developed in partnership with linguists from the Portuguese Institute for Computational Theoretical Linguistics and the Center for Research and Development at Microsoft Portugal.

Website for rare diseases launched – Portugal

The website Orphanet.com, dedicated to rare diseases worldwide, is now available in European Portuguese providing information on rare diseases, specialized consultations, clinical trials and patient networks.
