The Saab-Pedroso Center for Portuguese Culture and Research, at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, has announced a 2017 summer abroad program in Lisbon, Portugal. Financial aid and/or scholarships are available for eligible students.

Students can choose Option 1 (4 week program) departing the US on June 3 and returning June 30, 2017. Students who choose Option 2 (8 week program) will depart the US on June 3 and return on July 30, 2017.

This for credit, faculty-led internship/service learning program is open to non-UMass Boston/Dartmouth/Lowell students, UMass Boston Students, UMass Dartmouth Students, and UMass Lowell Students.

This immersive language and cultural experience is coordinated by Professor Frank Sousa, Director of the Saab-Pedroso Center for Portuguese Culture and Research, at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

The program is sponsored by the UMass Lowell Department of Languages and Cultures and the Saab-Pedroso Center for Portuguese Culture and Research and the College of Fine Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. Find additional course information on the sign-up page.
