Portuguese international fashion designer, Luis Buchinho, revealed his Spring/Summer 2011 collection at the Le Marais, Paris, inspired by nautical themes such as naval uniforms and fishermen’s clothing. He is known for using only 100% natural materials for his collections.

Luis Buchinho was born in 1969, in Setubal, Portugal. He was awarded “Best Fashion Designer of the Year” at the Lisbon Fashion Awards Portugal 2010. In 2008 the city of Setubal awarded him with the “Medal of Honor of the City.”

 He has gained international recognition after participating in many Fashion Weeks around the world namely Paris, São Paulo and New York.
