Nuno Fonseca, 23, a young Portuguese medical student, is heading to Paris to return the 1950-issued passport to Betty Werther issued more than 60 years ago, after she graduated from the University of California, Berkeley.
The search started last summer when, while studying in Paris, Nuno Fonseca found Betty’s passport at a flea market. From there, he embarked on an eight-month search for its rightful owner.
After taking many turns and twists, Nuno was able to locate Betty who still lives in Paris. They will meet soon and will have much to share. This summer, Nuno will do an internship in Paris at the Pierre et Marie Curie University. Read more >>
