The Sandbox Global Summit 2012 will be held on January 20-22, in Lisbon, Portugal. The event will take place at MUDE (Museum of Design and Fashion) and it has the official support of Lisbon’s City Council.
Sandbox started in 2008 and is now the foremost global community of extraordinary young achievers below 30. Sandbox identifies exceptional people worldwide that already have an impressive impact at a very young age, no matter in what field or industry. Sandbox has 600 members in 48 countries. Over the last 3 years, Sandbox has hosted more than 300 local events on 5 continents.
During three days, 200 Sandboxers and 50 outstanding senior leaders will work and play together, share their expertise. The three days of the Summit will be followed by a two-day trip near the event location.
The mission of Sandbox is to accelerate its members by providing them with the tools they need to have a global impact. These tools consist mostly of connection to peers, to senior leaders, to employers, to investors and to the media.
On August 25, 2011, Sandbox had announced Lisbon as the winner in the race to host the Sandbox Global Summit 2012. Lisbon was unanimously chosen by the jury over the other two finalists, Istanbul and Singapore.
