eBay, the popular internet auction company, has launched “eiM Portugal“, a service where consumers can make lower priced purchases outside their country of residence that may not be available in the local market.

The service allows Portuguese speaking consumers to search in Portuguese and  buy items at a fixed price  in the global community on eBay.

Payment is made through PayPal, a safe way of purchasing, which guarantees reimbursement if the goods are not delivered or are significantly different from what was described by the seller.

The service has been very  successful in other European countries, namely Czech Republic, Denmark, Greece, Norway, Russia and Sweden, where  eBay was made available recently.
