A group of 11 young community leaders from the Azorean diaspora will visit the Azores from October 6 to 13, traveling to the islands of São Miguel, Terceira, and São Jorge.
This initiative, organized by the Government of the Azores, through the Regional Directorate for Communities, in partnership with the Casas dos Açores, aims to introduce these young leaders to the modern social, cultural, and economic landscape of the Azores.
The participants, aged between 18 and 35, are of Azorean descent and represent Casas dos Açores from various locations including Bermuda, Brazil (Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul), the United States (New England), Canada (Ontario, Quebec, and Winnipeg), mainland Portugal (North), and Uruguay.
