The Portuguese-American Leadership Council (PALCUS) reelected Fernando G. Rosa as chairman of the board of directors.One of the founders of PALCUS, he has served two terms as president.

Rosa is also the deputy director of the Hartford Economic Development Corp., vice president of the CCSU Alumni Association, and director of the Capital Workforce Partners.

PALCUS is a Portuguese-American non-profit and advocacy organization founded in 1991 to address concerns of the Portuguese-American community, namely expanding research programs, and promoting educational and public affairs iniciatives on issues of interest to the community.
