Vera Silva, a Portuguese flight attendant, got the surprise of her life when her boyfriend, João Vieira, proposed to her today in mid-flight on a TAP Air Portugal plane from Lisbon to Barcelona.

According to the Telegraph, her fellow flight attendants, as well as the flight’s pilot, were aware of the planned  surprise engagement. João Vieira had told his girlfriend he was going away on a business trip. There were 80 passengers on board to witness the over the clouds engagement.
