USCA: Portuguese Carvi Hotel named Best of Manhattan 2011 – NYC

The US Commerce Association (USCA) named Portuguese owned Carvi Hotel “Best of Manhattan 2011.”

The USCA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category.

Built in 2007, Carvi Hotel New York Carvi is boutique hotel located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, walking distance to many museums, tourist attractions.

Owned by Portuguese entrepreneur Alfredo Pedro, the Carvi Hotels are in privileged locations in two different continents. Carvi Beach Hotel is on D. Ana beach, in the coastal town of Lagos, Algarve, Portugal, was named one of ten most beautiful beaches in Europe.

In 2011, the Carvi Hotel New York, with 7 floors and total number of 40 rooms, had an occupancy rate of 84%, which, according to Alfredo Pedro, it “was very positive, above the city average.”

Carvi Hotel New York is located in New York’s Midtown East – Grand Central neighborhood, close to Sony Wonder Technology Lab, Rockefeller Center, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Nearby points of interest also include Museum of Modern Art and Radio City Music Hall.
