Bestowed by the University of Cambridge (UK), the ‘Cambridge Top in the World’ award distinguishes students worldwide who have achieved the highest world standards for a single subject. More than 9,000 schools in 160 countries participate in the program.

School Principal, Delilah Miguel, emphasized the importance of the distinction “for its recognition of talent, dedication and commitment of students and teachers,” at Colégio Luso-Internacional do Centro (CLIC).

Last year, Madalena Severino, student at the International School of the Algarve, was the recipient of the ‘Cambridge Top in the World’ award for the best mark in the Cambridge IGCSE Foreign Language Portuguese examination.
