Arts: Natália Gromicho represents Portugal in New York – NYC

Natália Gromicho is representing Portugal at “The Power of Perception II: International Art in 2014” group exhibit, taking place in New York City March 3-17, 2014.

The Power of Perception II: International Art in 2014 is the second annual showcase of global art curated by Creative Concept Studios, featuring art from Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and the US.

This unique display of art takes place as part of the NYC Art fairs month, which includes the Amory Art Fair, SCOPE, Pool Art Fair, Art Expo and Volta among dozens of other satellite events and exhibitions. Each of the works in the exhibition has been carefully selected for their commitment to creativity.

Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Natália Gromicho graduated in Belas Artes from the Faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa specialized in painting. She also graduated from the private ArCo School of Art in Lisbon where she has studied Arts and Crafts, including ceramics and sculpture.

Gromicho, who has held more than 60 solo and group exhibitions, has participated in many international exhibition such as Italy (in the biggest international Human Rights exhibition), in Brazil (the most important south America Arts and Fashion Exhibition Casa Cor), in Miami (World Tour Exhibitions Contemporary Artists) and the first Portuguese Artist in Adelaide, Australia (Adelaide Fringe Festival).  Her art is represented in international art collections from Brazil, Spain, United States, UK, France, Italy, Holland and Australia.
